Read Surat Ad-Dhuha with Tafsir and Translation

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

وَالضُّحَىٰ [١]

By the morning brightness

Verse number: 1

وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ [٢]

And [by] the night when it covers with darkness,

Verse number: 2

مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ [٣]

Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you].

Verse number: 3

وَلَلْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَكَ مِنَ الْأُولَىٰ [٤]

And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life].

Verse number: 4

وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰ [٥]

And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied.

Verse number: 5

أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَآوَىٰ [٦]

Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?

Verse number: 6

وَوَجَدَكَ ضَالًّا فَهَدَىٰ [٧]

And He found you lost and guided [you],

Verse number: 7

وَوَجَدَكَ عَائِلًا فَأَغْنَىٰ [٨]

And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.

Verse number: 8

فَأَمَّا الْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ [٩]

So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him].

Verse number: 9

وَأَمَّا السَّائِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ [١٠]

And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him].

Verse number: 10

وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ [١١]

But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it].
