Read Surat Al-Maun with Tafsir and Translation

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ [١]

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense?

Verse number: 1

فَذَٰلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ [٢]

For that is the one who drives away the orphan

Verse number: 2

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ [٣]

And does not encourage the feeding of the poor.

Verse number: 3

فَوَيْلٌ لِلْمُصَلِّينَ [٤]

So woe to those who pray

Verse number: 4

الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ [٥]

[But] who are heedless of their prayer -

Verse number: 5

الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ [٦]

Those who make show [of their deeds]

Verse number: 6

وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ [٧]

And withhold [simple] assistance.
