Read Surat Ash-Sharh with Tafsir and Translation

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ [١]

Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast?

Verse number: 1

وَوَضَعْنَا عَنْكَ وِزْرَكَ [٢]

And We removed from you your burden

Verse number: 2

الَّذِي أَنْقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ [٣]

Which had weighed upon your back

Verse number: 3

وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ [٤]

And raised high for you your repute.

Verse number: 4

فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا [٥]

For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.

Verse number: 5

إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا [٦]

Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.

Verse number: 6

فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانْصَبْ [٧]

So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship].

Verse number: 7

وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَارْغَبْ [٨]

And to your Lord direct [your] longing.
