Read Surat Al-Adiyat with Tafsir and Translation

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

وَالْعَادِيَاتِ ضَبْحًا [١]

By the racers, panting,

Verse number: 1

فَالْمُورِيَاتِ قَدْحًا [٢]

And the producers of sparks [when] striking

Verse number: 2

فَالْمُغِيرَاتِ صُبْحًا [٣]

And the chargers at dawn,

Verse number: 3

فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِ نَقْعًا [٤]

Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust,

Verse number: 4

فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِ جَمْعًا [٥]

Arriving thereby in the center collectively,

Verse number: 5

إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنُودٌ [٦]

Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful.

Verse number: 6

وَإِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ [٧]

And indeed, he is to that a witness.

Verse number: 7

وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ [٨]

And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense.

Verse number: 8

أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِي الْقُبُورِ [٩]

But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered

Verse number: 9

وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي الصُّدُورِ [١٠]

And that within the breasts is obtained,

Verse number: 10

إِنَّ رَبَّهُمْ بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَخَبِيرٌ [١١]

Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted.
